Unicorn-Tech3 Academy is a transformative online school designed to empower African students from kindergarten to grade 12 with essential tech skills, AI education, and practical life expertise. Our comprehensive curriculum includes computer science, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and ethical entrepreneurship, equipping students with the tools they need to launch startups and solve real-world challenges. Beyond technology, we integrate street sense (life skills) such as leadership, negotiation, financial literacy, and critical thinking to prepare students for success in Africa’s dynamic socio-economic landscape.
Students at Unicorn-Tech3 Academy engage in hands-on learning experiences in programming, software development, robotics, app development, and Web3 technologies. They also work on problem-solving projects focused on African contexts, tackling challenges in agriculture, healthcare, and infrastructure. With a mission to produce 1 million startups by 2035, we are nurturing a generation of tech leaders who will transform industries, drive sustainable development, and shape the future of Africa.

The Genesis of ORMD-DATALAB

Our story isn't one of boardrooms and venture capital. It's a story born in the heart of
communities, in the eyes of young people hungry for opportunity.
Our journey into the
world of AI began in FUOYE, and also widened with a simple act, an opportunity to become a
facilitator for DSN AI Invasion 2022. Leading those five-day workshops, We saw firsthand the raw
talent, the spark of brilliance waiting to be ignited across our continent. But what we also
witnessed was a desperate need – the need for more than just introductory classes. The need for a
pathway from potential to profession.
Fueled by the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goal 4 – Quality Education – a vision began to form. What if we could harness the transformative power of MLOps engineering, this cutting-edge field, to not only educate our youth but empower them? What if Africa itself could become the hub of this technological revolution?.
That's why ORMD-DATALAB exists. We're not just a training academy; we're a forge where dreams are tempered into real-world skills. Our mission is audacious: We will train 1,000,000 African youths in tech skills, equipping them with the tools to secure top careers and build the AI solutions that will shape a better future by the year 2035.
